Good Day One and All,

Khelly Webb D.C.I was working with a patient on the 17th and suddenly realized that it was the exact time 36 years ago that I embarked on being a Doctor of Chiropractic!  It is amazing to me that I could do anything for 36 years and still love it.  Some of my young patients from that time are now grandparents!

Thousands of education hours have passed by and there is still more to learn. The first 3-year post doctorate was in sports injury management and prevention; then there was orthopedics, pediatrics, a traumatizing a auto accident resulting in brain and spinal cord injuries which lead to neurology post docturate studies.  The 6 month veterinary orthopedic manipulation course taught me more about humans.  Post doc work in nutrition, homeopathy, herbs, aroma therapy craniosacral, and the list goes on and on and on.  

I have over a dozen protocol papers published for the emotional release techniques and Total Body Modification. Spent years as a state board exam commissioner, practice management consultant, speaker on the international seminar circuit, consultant to world class sports and dance organizations in Europe, former USSR, the Break-up Countries, China and the Far East and of course in the U.S.  I developed a protocol for post traumatic stress for combat vets and war trauma and high risk youth which is still used today. The best part has been working with you through all of the ups and downs, births, deaths, challenges, victories and celebrations of your lives. You have trusted me with your parents, kids and animals and your Selves. Thank you. It continues to be an amazing adventure. My current projects are teaching protocol for brain injuries, technique for chiropractic clinicians and working with the colleges. I am embarking on another 3 year study of energy healing that is so different from anything I have already learned that I am very excited. I can’t wait to see where this takes me. I am still available as a motivation or healthcare speaker to your organizations.

For those of you interested in energy healing via the Chakras, Kundalini energy, a book by Richard Jelusich, Eye of the Lotus: Psychology of the Chakras might be a good read. Rev. Duane Moret developed a game called webelive2 -We had a game day using this game and had a lot of fun, laughs and thoughtful discussions. .A. Interfaith Council is using it to stimulated conversations among persons of different faiths. Both of these are available from Amazon.

Thanks to the heavy rains--6 inches plus ahead of normal--many of you are suffering from allergies and flu-like sickies that is related to the molds and avalanche of pollens.  Massage along the chest bone where the rib heads meet the sternum.  You will find some sore spots. gently massage them.  The medics are calling this sickness the 100-day cough. It can be adjusted out of the system. Drink a lot of water to dilute the histamine response. The sinuses are doing their job by stuffing the nose so spores and pollens can’t be breathed in. Thank them for doing a stellar job. Gluten grains like oats and wheat and milk products will make the sinuses worse and give you more belly gasses. Not fun!  Check your air filters and change them out. When the heat comes back you will want to use your car A/C. Take time to run it on high with the doors open to blow out the mold spores that settled during the rain.  If your car smells of mold, mildew then find the intake vents and place a fine cloth like cheese cloth soaked with bleach over the vent and run the A/C on high for about 5 minutes; take the cloth off and continue to run for 5 minutes with the doors open. That will remove the molds. When driving move the vents so they don’t blow directly on you. Cold air can stimulate cluster and migraine headaches, hip or shoulder pain. If you are starting your spring landscaping take a few minutes for stretching and warm up like you would do if going to the gym. After the gardening do some cool down stretches and take a nice hot shower. Doing this will help prevent aches and pains.

Final reminder: cut out the sugars, flour products and other simple carbs, caffeine -  increase your veggies, proteins and water.  Water should be about 1 qt for every 50 pounds. Walk 30 minutes a day. Get your heart rate up for about 20 minutes a day. Yoga works, too. Should you have bad health habits, seek out an Emotional Release session with me or go to a hypnotherapist. Read some inspiring books. Cut out the news and newspapers. Research shows that all of this makes a happy difference in your life. Getting adjusted 1 or 2 times a month increases you immunity by 10 fold. Do it for yourself, the quality of your future and for your family.
